ansel herz is a 21 year old freelance journalist who headed to haiti, because no one else was reporting there.
i assume he toiled in anonymity for a while, but when the world’s focus turned to haiti following the devastating recent events, the modern media giants: CNN, PBS, and BBC went to him for coverage.
