Given my gas failure, last evening was not the most pleasant one of my life. Thankfully, today I didn’t have to teach as my regular Wednesday appointment at the Hamatonbetsu junior high was canceled. The entire school spent the day skiing in Nakatonbetsu, a town roughly thirty minutes south.
